Language Switch, Change and Why the Translator Is Quiet for the Moment

Some of you may already have noticed that the language switch on Myrddin-Gwais.de is currently no longer available. That is not a bug, but a deliberate decision. I have temporarily disabled the previous plugin.

The reason is quite simple: I want to take time to think carefully about how multilingual publishing should work in the future. Technical development is moving extremely fast at the moment, and especially in the field of AI there are now possibilities that go far beyond classic translation plugins.

What matters to me is that texts are not translated merely word for word, but that they retain their mood, symbolism and essence. Especially with themes such as alchemy, philosophy of nature, spirituality or the deeper layers of my work, a purely technical translation often remains superficial.

That is why I am currently examining different paths:

• classic translation systems,
• AI-supported language models,
• hybrid solutions,
• or perhaps even something entirely my own.

Until I have made that decision, the language switch will remain disabled. For the moment, the content will appear primarily in German.
